- Our basic human psychological needs (of safety, satisfaction and connection) are met and maintained
- The rhythms of our heart and mind align and work together
- We focus on what we’re giving rather than what we’re getting
- The immediate obstacles to a natural sense of happiness are removed
THEN! Then happiness, joy and ease are the most natural things that can ever happen. You won’t be able to turn the tap of happiness off. You might even start spraying people with it everywhere you go - “oh sorry, I can’t control my happiness, look out, it’s contagious!”
It is THIS that I want to teach you over a 4 week period.
My goal is to not only guide you through these practices and processes during our course, but also to set you up with the knowledge and tools so that you can use them for the rest of your life.
Your brain is designed to give you experiences of happiness, it can produce, itself (meaning without any external stimulation) cocktails of hormones and chemicals so you can feel deeply, delightful and easefully peaceful and happy.
What meditation can offer us is so powerful. It takes us within ourselves so that we can realise that our very nature is joy. It isn’t something that we have to create, but rather something that is already there.
